We decided to camp out on our property this past weekend and while we were sitting around enjoying a nice camp fire, Trevor noticed that we had a visitor.
Trevor holding the Black snake
Closer view of Alan holding the snake
Robin checking it out
Alan guessed the snake to be over 5 feet long
After everyone was done looking at it and taking pictures, we set it free in the woods.
Black snake or not you will not find me holding it, but it was neat to look at it anyway!

Hi Staci, we live in PA. and as far as I know it is just a common black snake. They are good for keeping rodents and poisonous snakes away and most black snakes are pretty harmless!
Uh no... I wouldn't be holding that thing and I would be yeliing at everyone else to put it down too!!!! Yuck snakes!!!
I just found your blog today and I plan on coming back.

The guys might like Daniel's web site - TrashCars.net - I don't think he had it finished last time we were up.
There's one on there that I thought you might enjoy, too:
"What is a mommy?"
We would love to see you all again soon!
Pretty interesting place you've got here. Thanks the author for it. I like such themes and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
