Power Down!

This morning we had lost our power, I never did find out why but, during those hours that we were with out electric, I learned something very nice.... quiet time, no humming of the refrigerator or the fish tank, no swishing from the washer or tumbling from the dryer just absolute peacefulness! It was a little distracting from my day, as my chores and some projects were forced to be put on hold but, I sat and enjoyed the silence while I did some sewing for Christmas gifts... What an unexpected but very welcome disruption to my life!
